You could have moved out of your parents place and bought your own house with the money they cost you! :D

I still have never bought a blu ray as i would only watch it once so i stick to digital versions.

The Memorial Pools are very well done, and if you read the names around the edges, well, it brought me to tears (especially the ones that said "...and unborn child").

Just come back from Lidl: Two small parts organiser drawers 32 smaller with dividers and one larger drawer £8.99 each. I have a lot of odd electronic components, some conventional and a lot of surface mount in boxes and bags from projects and they need organising so I can see what I've got.

Assorted metric washer set (350) and assorted metric nut set (170) £4 for the pair in small organiser cases. Bolts I have aplenty.

You'd pay a fortune at B&Q for these in odd packs so it's nice to have a set in a case.:)

Some how my kids managed to wrench the whole head off the top off my old tripod (about 25 years old) so I needed a new one. Most reviews put tripods of £150-200 at the budget end but this is way above what I can afford so I went for one of these.

It's very heavy but really sturdy. One leg section is a little stiff but it seems to be good value.

I bought a Phillips Airfryer during the Amazon Prime day last week.

Amazing device, my partner in particular loves it. I was honestly unsure that it could work anywhere near as well as a deep fat fryer but without the bad side but am happily being proven wrong.

Edit: That Keyboard looks fun!

Re: What have you just bought?

I needed a new GPS running watch as my Nike+ one wasn't up to what I need it for plus I wanted a heart rate monitor and the only one compatible would cost about £50 so I put it on eBay as funds are currently low so with the money I decided to go back to basics and won the auction for a used Garmin FR110 which is pretty much the entry-level for what I wanted but met all my needs. I could get the heart rate strap another time (ie when I had the money even though for the Garmin it's around half that of the Nike+).

A few days later it arrived......or so I thought. I used to have the FR110 so as I took it out of the box I could tell they'd sent the wrong one. I checked the paperwork for their phone number to complain.....until I realised what they'd sent was the mid-to-upper range model, the FR410 :)

I sent a message to say they'd sent a different (I was careful not to say 'wrong' ;)) and begrudgingly asked if they wanted me to return it. Inevitably the guy said yes which I was planning to do this morning but 10 minutes later he sent another message saying not to bother and I could keep it :D

More features such as Virtual Partner and Course Creator, better battery life and although the model is about 4 years old now it's as good as or better than the majority of running watches on the market right now - plus they also included the heart rate strap too, saving me £30 to £40. Happy with that!
