I have to reboot my Samsung V+ every time I want the Red Button on Sky Sports to work. It gets stuck on 'just a moment'

This has been going since the Sky Sports red button became available

All my other Red Button services are working fine

I don't know if it's Sky's problem or the feed being provided to them, but the RedZone seems to be suffering from the same picture problem the TiVo boxes show with SD downscaling. If you look closely at the screen you can clearly see that the line order is wrong.

Just put Red Zone on the red button at my fathers and his Samsung V+ required a reboot to get it to work.

The same thing happened here. This realy is not good enough these issues have now been on going since April when Ss red button launched. Numerious people have now raised theses issues on the community forum with no solution in sight. :(

No golf and no red button PGA Golf on soft reboot (on box) or hard reboot at plug)

There is, however, golf behind the golf on Sky Sports 2.... but that the foremtioned reboot... LOL got to love it :)

Contacted Virgin media to arrange for an engineer to call about problem with my V+HD box; signal loss and also unexpected automatic rebooting. I mentioned the red button problem and the need to reboot and it was suggested that the problem is due to too many people trying to access it!!!
Around midnight I thought I would give the golf red button a try and for the very first time it worked without the reboots so I guess the explanation might have some merit.

Just checked the red button on the NFL on my parents' SA V+ box and it worked perfectly first time. No reboot required. :tu:

The picture problem from last week seems to be absent this week as well. I don't know if that's a fix at Sky's end or VM's end but well done whoever fixed it. :)

I'm one of those who has always had problems with the red button but tried it just now on both my VHD and V+ and it works great on both, good job.

That'll be Sky or their provider. VM don't do any processing on the streams apart from re-encryption.

Sorry couldn't see previous thread. Watching Goals on Sunday SSpHD1. Red button shows match choice. When you press i it shows fanzone:confused: for Newcastle game. Is this now available on Virgin?

Just tried the red button on goals on sunday on my V+ (for match choice) and it was coming up with the La Liga match has now finished on screen did not try it earlier though.

They write the application specifically for the VM Liberate boxes, so they are unlikely to have accidentally added a feature.

It seems funny then that the fan zone has appeared for one match only and its not been seen before or since ,have you any ideas then as to why virgin media customers are missing this feature on red button,because i cannot think of any.:confused:
