We know the price. it's "free" as part of your XL sub, or "free" as part of you VIP sub, or £12-£15 per month on its own.

We know the price. So hurry up and do the deal.

OK I agree. BT Sport should be available and then we all have the choice. Just cant see many people paying the same as available on SKY. I still think Virgin are haggling for a better deal.

because that's the price. worst case scenario should it come is it's £12-£15, same as sky. what evidence is there to say it would be more? £12-£15 isn't 'any price', it's £12-£15. That's my point.

Many apologies, I didn't realise that guessing a figure (or none) constituted "knowing".

Apologies if this has been mentioned, but I just received a Sports brochure from VM, promoting all the coming sport on all main channels such as Sky, ITV, BBC, etc. No mention of course of BT, so might be VM's attempt to hold onto customers in the wake of losing ESPN and possibly not gaining BT.

I didn't know postmen delivered as late as half 11 :p:

What?!? Pure drivel. Lots of people like sports (rugby, cricket, golf, tennis, badminton, rowing, cycling, running, swimming, darts.) I personally "get" football, but have slowly fallen out of love with the game. What I don't "get" is how there is no pride for the English team whilst nearly every other nation still have huge pride. If you look at the Germans, Dutch, Spanish, Italians etc you will see great team spirit and pride in those teams. England simply do not have it and simply can not work as a real team playing "total football", as shown over the last 15 years or so.
If you look at all the sports I have mentioned you will find considerable more passion in the vast majority of players when turning out for national teams, especially the rugby (look at the British Lions - 4 nations playing hard and fair for each other - a few months earlier they were playing for national pride and bragging rights through hard rugby to beat the same said players in the 6 nations.) and cricket teams (google Jimmy Anderson ashes wicket celebrations, and Freddide Flintoff's 5 wickets at lords). Also I suggest you find the post race interview of the 8's rowing team from the 2012 Olympics to see their reaction for coming THIRD (bronze). They gave their all to try and win, when they could have coasted home for a very comfortable second (silver). They were devastated for "letting the country down." Also watch Chris Hoy's podium tears, Jess Ennis's, Mo Farrah's, Andy Murray's, Laura Trott and various rowers and their sheer joy at winning gold. Also Ben Ainsle and his anger over perceived cheating. Mark Cavendish also wore his heart on his sleeve when the Brits were left to head the peloton and which scuppered his chances of winning gold.

Still, I guess I don't know anything about sport just because I think a bunch of overpaid primadonna's who lie, cheat and deceive fellow professionals and fans (far more than in any other sport) don't deserve the money they are paid.

For an "educated" man, you don't really come across as one very often. Won't be on here for much longer, I have a job to get up for in the morning.

Nobody is saying fill with any old b##### they have been doing that a lot this year anyway, what I am saying is that vm should have released a early statement saying that due to not coming to a compromise with bt we are unable to strike a deal at the minute for bt sports however we are pleased to anounce the following channels going into the xl pack --- --- --- ----- I know there no subsertute for the loss for sports fans but rest assured talks are on ongoing with bt

I'm not guessing though. That is the confirmed Price of BT Sport my son. £12-£15. as i said, night of the crazies on this place.

If it was to be included in a collection, we know the price of all the collections, so again it wouldn't be a case of 'any price'. if it was added as a bolt on to a collection, it still wouldn't be more than £12-£15 as some of it would be covered by the price of the collection.

at no point are we in an "any price" scenario.

you are a pedant plain and simple, so we'll leave it at that.

And, does that really matter? the thread is about "coming soon" and BT Sports is, by all accounts, coming VERY soon, i'm pretty sure that most on here want BT Sports and the majority want it for the football!

Ultimately, BT Sport should be available to Virgin subscribers.
If Virgin cannot thrash out a deal very soon, the pricing should be on a par with what is available to Sky subscribers (£12 - £15) - simples !! or maybe not ?

That's the price bt probably wants virgin to charge, the reason it's taking so long is probably because virgin want to put in xl

Not a pedant just one who likes guesses stated as that as opposed to facts - BTW where/when did VM give those figures?
