So tomorrow afternoon, BT Sports, first PL game. I'm offering two to one on their huge DOG being in the bottom right corner, annoyingly.

Totally agree. They do seem to have a large following in terms of their NASCAR and NHL coverage. Posts on Facebook however suggest lots of rugby and conference fans cancelled in the summer after BT snapped up the rights.

Believe it or not a lot were Luton fans helped Premier Sports subscription numbers!

Yes, that is a very good tactic. that would work.

BT buys lots of pubs, offers free beer to BT sport customers. I can see that working well :)

They thought it was all over: Why Sky vs BT Sport in the battle for pay-TV dominance is a game of two halves.

They will when enough people complain about it as Sky did a few years ago when they tried it at the bottom of the screen

I said last week that BT Sport doesnt broadcast in 5.1 but my amp is now showing as 5.1 on BT Sport 1 HD on the football. Of course it goes to D 2.0 when on ads etc

Thank god for the annoying dog coz this match is poor, seriously though it needs to be opaque wherever it is.

It is a bit in your face, your eyes focus on it alot more than Sky Sports for example

Just switched on for the last ten minutes, the dog isn't that annoying actually, but perhaps burn in will be an issue. The hd quality is good. That said, the sd channel is really really bad.

One question, we all know they have the Saturday lunchtime slot for the Premier League, but I notice that there's a Scottish Premiership match on 2 as well. They haven't seriously bought themselves different rights that they can only show at the same time, have they?

Almost as strange as continuing to let Jonathon Walters take penalties!
