MOM for United............DeGea

United seem very prone to conceding goals again and again their midfield is sub standard.

In some games we have no midfield at all. I've said before we are lucky the standard in the league has slipped over the past few years which has meant we can still challenge for the title despite being so poor.

Everyone can see it apart from Fergie it seems

Yes Ferguson must be blind if he cannot see how poor their midfield is.

I did wonder once if Fergie was hampered by the Glaziers and the debt. He's not stupid enough to speak out against them and lose his job but I wonder if we had no debt and were still a PLC would be still be fielding some of the dross we have to put up with

I think it's a case of if United are able to scrape victories with the crap we've been using over the last 2 or 3 seasons then what's the point of spending £10 or £20m on new players.

I know SAF has said that if the right player is identified then the Glaziers will make the funds available but I have a feeling that it comes with unspoken pressure which says to only spend that money if there is no other option.

And while we flatulently win league titles with second-rate players then that will always be an option. We've been lucky over the last few years because no other team has looked dangerous enough to overtake us, and that has only reinforced the policy.

In a way I'm glad Man City have bought the title this year, hopefully it will be the wake-up call the Glaziers need. Sadly I can't see it happening though as despite our numerous sub-standard performances, we're still 2 points behind the top spot. As much as I hate to say this, I'd prefer we finish 5th or 6th. THAT would force a revolt.

The glazer are a issue, they need should sell up, the owners of Man City should have bought Man U insted!

Also Fergie gets on quite well with its owners

Since they own PSG, would UEFA force them to sell PSG if they buy Man U?
