it all seems a bit too premature.. the reports reckon hes on 100k. no way would he be given 100k when we need van persie on a new contract without destroying the bank plus sales need to be made although players released this summer will free up a bit of money.. wont be much tho.. we need sales done and dusted. also 100k for podolski is not worthwhile. he is a gamble.

premature may be not but the wages are a concern.. probably the media second guessing matching his current deal. i think 60k to around 70k max. we seem to be in the driving seat on this one nonetheless..

Was I really the only one last night who thought the APOEL v Lyon game was better than Barcelona v Leverkusen? I mean, I am not a massive fan of either Barca or Messi so much preferred the APOEL game.

Crying shame that either team had to lose on penalties last night. And at least Stevenage can say they scored a goal against Spurs despite losing.

That Evra/Suarez thing needs to be put to bed. they both have faces id love to smash. sorry but their both annoying more so Evra before all this crap.

Mark I was gunning for Lyon to exit. the clubs in a bit of a limbo. their a good side though.

Messi is just on another planet and the way Barca play real football is joy to behold. shame it often turns into a panto!

Stevenage missed their chance to progress in the first leg. iirc they had the better chances at the death of that 1st tie.

You have to hold your hands up, United actually played far better than they did on Sunday against Spurs but Bilbao were on fire, second goal marginally offside but they could have had a bagful, no shame to lose to a team playing like that.

for the first time in awhile we came up against a team prepared to put us under pressure and really attack us.

We didn't have much midfield and it showed with the amount of ball we had.

Park and Hernandez just didn't do enough on the night and a few others could have put in more effort.

First thing I read about Pogba, will be interesting to see if he does anything at Juve
