I agree, for me they have the worst time slot of the weekend aswell. No chance I would pay for the channel when Sky Sports already show so many games.

I prefer the earlier Sat slot, I'm normally home that time and out and about later so I used to miss a lot of the ESPN games. Sunday is the best day for to have slots in my view. A good thing BR have is all the Xmas, Easter and bank holiday slots which is where they have a lot of first picks too.

... for what it's worth as we won't be seeing it on VM

;)

How many is a lot and how many will be leaving?

Agreed.

Also I question anyone who says they're an avid sports fan but refuses to pay for it. Can't be that big a fan then if you are willing to miss your team in action. An avid fan of something does not miss his team/player/artist in action and would not see the lack of BT Sport, with some of the excellent content they've aquired, as acceptable. the end.

Of course, it is completely unheard of for VM to put their prices up!

Not everyone can afford to pay for all of this premium content. I think it's a bit over the top to suggest that anyone that doesn't shell out for both a Sky Sports and BT Sport subscription isn't a "true" fan.

I'm not talking about myself ffs, I don't only think of myself. I've mentioned 10 times that I have sky freesat as well as virgin. I'm sorted. i'm getting it. albeit at an inconvenience. I still think it's outrageous if virgin don't do a deal.

Cant see many leaving, Virgin are not stupid:
Would you join BT, just for one EPL game per week (and very little else in their TV schedules)?
Would you join Sky and pay an extra £15 per month (and inferior broadband)?
It is not just all about BT sport

I do see my team in action each week - I support my local team which, not surprisingly, doesn't get the air time a Premiership team does but just because I support them doesn't make me any the less an avid sports fan - in fact, as I get off my bum and go to watch live football probably makes me more of a football fan than those people who support a "big" team who they've never seen live.

Funny how competition over content eventually costs the customer more to watch it. Well done ofcom

No need to get upset. I want BT sport as much as anybody else. But not at any price

It is not just all about BT sport

More than just 1 EPL a week as there is rugby, US Sports, Tennis and MMA, Moto GP and more so plenty to fill there TV schedules
