Either that or as you suggested netflix uhd content or possibly sky movies uhd?
We was told vms online tv service tv anywhere? is getting a overhaul in 2017 too.
You'll have to excuse meifi'm confusing anyone as on the old jd.

We have recieved info from our sources regarding UHD on VM.
UHD will start arriving on VM early 2017 exclusively for customers on the v6 box, the prices are rumoured as follows those on top tv pack will get UHD content inclusive with the exception of sports and movies UHD where a additional charge will apply.
Those on other tv packs can recieve UHD for a small monthly fee, sports and movies in UHD will be extra.
For now there will be no UHD on the vm online tv service which will get a overhaul later in 2017.

Thanks for the info, theone.

Do you think this could include UHD on-demand for shows like The Blacklist which is available on Sky Q? That would be pretty cool.

Not until a deal is done with Sky, however long that may take.

Actually the deal would need to be done with NBC as they own the rights to the blacklist, Sky do indeed have first run UHD but there's nothing stopping vm from going for secon run rights which they could probably do with a lot of programmes.
Interestingly i have heard Skys Christmas drama the last dragonslayer will be in UHD on sky but not vm i can't confirm this as i don't have skyq.
BBC are now beta testing UHD on iplayer too.

I hope so, yes i hate vm with a passion but it would be nice to see more companies getting top shows in UHD.

I found this article, it was updated on 5th Nov 2016. Don't know how true it actually is.

Virgin Media Back in Sky Atlantic Talks
http://www.thebritishblacklist.com/v...tlantic-talks/

"The prospect of Sky Atlantic becoming available to Virgin Media’s 3.8 million TV subscribers has moved closer after it emerged that talks between the two companies have reopened.

Sources have indicated that the operators have now reopened negotiations and, although a deal is not imminent, they are significantly closer to agreeing a price for Sky Atlantic than they were two years ago."

Be careful, you may upset certain posters with that story. ;)

If true, the discussions might have been prompted by Virgin's interest in acquiring UHD channels.

They've actually been in talks for quite awhile over negotitating a new deal with SKY.
BT also in talks with SKY too.
Talktalk might lose more channels.

They may have just changed it so that it appeared in search engines. The article source seems to be that 2013 article, nothing more recent I'm afraid.
