Why would want you 22 +1 channels ? +1 channels are a waste of bandwith. Discovery 3D channel does not exist it only exists on demand. The SD version of NHK World no longer exists and More4 HD launches at the end of this year and More4 HD might come to Virgin Media. Boxnation and PBS UK are launching on Virgin Media. ITV 2,3,4 HD might be launching on Virgin Media this year.

Well that's probably the craziest post on this thread for 2011. A list of channels that someone wants Virgin to get, but they don't actually intend to watch all of them.

Can you imagine how much your monthly subscription would jump if Virgin secured carriage deals with all those channels? Everyone from M+, L and XL would have to pay an extra £15.00 per month for their TV package. Personally I'd like Virgin to continue securing deals with popular channels, and content providers, to make sure we're getting the best value for money. I'd like Virgin to speed up a little when negotiating but other than that I can't really complain too much.

i might have been a bit inacuurate, but i find +1 channels useful (i.e. you can record up to 6 shows at the same time with tivo)

and other thing, your right, More4 HD, ITV 2,3,4 HD, PBS UK, Boxnation might come to virgin media, but when is another matter

well then, virgin media should give up competing with sky

or

they could offer a XXL package which includes these channels, so if you don't want these channels you don't have to pay for them

How would they go about that? Maybe not comparing themselves to Sky and offering other services that would influence customers to join them regardless of the TV package.

Oh wait!

and, of course, there's always the possibility that there's something on Niue TV that I might want to watch so could Virgin include that too !!

Take a reality check, please.
