Someone on another forum has just announced that Red button is now working on TiVo, can someone else confirm as this would be very good news :D

Red button has been working for months.

But BBC iPlayer launched on TiVo yesterday which makes the red button more useful.

Just a thought, but if I am having my V+ box relocated to my second room when I get TiVo installed on Tuesday, will I still get HD on both the TiVo and V+. I am on VIP50, will I need to pay an activation Fee?

Thats because all VM work emails are co.uk not .com

so its tivo@virginmedia.co.uk I believe

You will still get HD on both boxes, and not have to pay activation fee.

Got to be honest and say I'm torn at the moment , if its free I'll have but otherwise not quite sure in light of recent reports.

What I dont get is that it said on the raffle draw that they will contact you before the 20th March if your one of the 1000. Surely the 1000 will have gone a long time before then?

the problem is we dont know if the current crop of calls is in any way related to the raffle ... some that have been called entered the raffle and some did not .. confusion reigns as usual with the VM tivo rollout

as a VIP50 customer like many others have already reported .. we didnt even get an invite to the raffle but then we have been told there is a separate draw for VIP customers but that has never been confirmed .... i say what i have said before ... ONLY VM truly know what they are doing and even most of the staff haven't really got a clue as is shown by all the different things being said to different customers

I for one wont pay for tivo though i can afford it i wont ... and i dont think it offers me anything above a standard V+ being a reasonably intelligent person i can search information myself and dont need suggestions ... but of course if offered for nothing i wont refuse an upgrade

lack of information and finding things out second-hand on forums does infuriate me though and has made VM look shabby in my eyes and not the company they were with the VIP package revamp promises last year
