I didn't say they were not there on merit, I said they were punching above their weight as a club.

What Chelsea need a manager for the long term, at this rate the £1 Billion+ spent on the team will have been a waste!

Yes there is no doubt that any manager should be given a reasonable time at any club but the sad fact remains that chairmans these days expect success straight away rather then take the long term view of building a club with strong foundations to provide that path to success.

Exactly, what happened to the good old days..you knew your place, it took 150 years to become established..and marmite ruled :D
