Virgin viewer told to ''Watch this space!'' by PBS.

Just found that an Virgin viewer was told to Watch this space! when they ask about PBS launching on Virgin Media.

New info on ITV on Virgin Media:

ITV is gearing up to launch pre-roll advertising around its VoD content on Virgin Media as early as next year.

ITV Player is currently ad-free on Virgin’s internet connected platforms and it is understood that the broadcaster is examining ways to commercialise the service.

ITV is in talks with Virgin about using the company’s on-demand TV advertising technology, which enables content providers to sell targeted advertising around specific programming.

The discussions are understood to be include content on TiVo and one media agency source suggested that advertising opportunities could be made available early next year. Channel 4’s 4oD currently carries ads on Virgin’s services.
