I don't think they will try and keep him if he wants to go, he only has 1 year left of his contract. They may as well cash in on him now rather then let him go for free next summer.

Schneiderlin left it too late to move on as Southampton had no time to look at a replacement but one suspects he will move this summer as well.

They can take Carl Jenkinson on loan if they like. He isn't in Arsenals first team plans next season.

Oh yes I'd forgotten about that, this is were Russ and his end of season trophy round up would come in handy. Can't think why he doesn't do them anymore :)

Then again, Russ could mention that the only thing Liverpool have won in the nearly ten years is the League Cup and how long is it since the Hammers won anything , Inter Toto Cup perhaps, but that was a few years ago.:p:
