Actually when my partner and l was staying with my parents in Hampshire my younger brothers and l went to watch Portsmouth play Havant and Waterlooville at Havant although we did go into to Eastleigh to watch a steam train go past as well as going into a few charity shops.:)

2-2 with a minute to go ... the Toon Army is refusing to lie down. I have to admit I have a great deal of affection for Newcastle, I lived in the city a few months when I was (much) younger and their passion for the game was something to behold (and that's coming from someone who grew up on Merseyside!)

No matter how Newcastle do their supporters are tremendously loyal unlike some sides in the capital.

Watching them under King Kevin on TV was mesmerizing to watch not just for the football but also seeing someone who manages just as passionately as when he played the game.
