The BBC has reportedly chosen a “dream team” of presenters for its new version of Top Gear that includes the former model Jodie Kidd.

Life on Mars star Philip Glenister and Channel 4 presenter Guy Martin have also been approached for the new series, according to reports.

Irrespective of who presents it, the new 'Top Gear', will only have a chance if JC and his team don't ply their trade elsewhere. It wouldn't surprise me if they add some guest presenters to the mix as happens in 'Have I got news for you'.

Top Gear is dead. It's just that it's not buried as yet and the corpse is still twitching a bit.

Much like the Beeb itself.

Top Gear wouldn't be the first show to successfully reinvent itself if it does manage to do so. We'll see how they do.

I don't pay for it, and never will.

Personally there is still quite a few programmes on BBC that are worth watching in my book even though l disagree with the TV licence but unless someone has a better idea l guess we are stuck with it for the considerable future.
