Dreadful performance from Celtic today. St Mirren deserved a draw, would have got it bar a great save from "the wall". Still we're in the semis, double would be great. Juve next :erm: bit worried about that one lol.

Yes, pretty poor. Italy on their mind I suspect.

Having said that, my big mate is an accies fan and I went with him to see their game against Falkirk. It made me appreciate that the standard of the SPL is so much higher than the lower leagues.

:D:D:D Looks like the Tetleytwit's £12 a game loyal is as expected a myth, thousands of these given away every home game.

The media can trumpet the fast track of the zombies all they like, the fans of every other club won't have it:) Huge losses already, insignificant and on life support already, keep yer heads buried in the sand, you won't hear the implosion as it blows yer asses goodbye, you won't be missed. Remember deny, deflect and say it wisnae us.

Ross County on BBC Alba better look out my Gaelic handbook. Think we'll struggle:(

World Record for free tickets handed out.;)

World Record losses for a new club ;)

New club- same lack of support. The support at Ibroke for the games that could have had meaning, i.e. cup games, have been below 30000 yet they bleat about the 45000 for meaningless games against part time plumbers and van drivers. Most of them have left before half time so they're not even buying the pies :D

Aren't these corporate tickets that they give away to sponsors? The Club Deck is always full of suits on match day who haven't paid a penny.

Is there a clearer version of that picture doing the rounds?

A rather better attempt at photoshopping tickets than the previous one that was doing the rounds a few months back.

Rangers have a bigger actual support than the part time 'fans' in the East end. Their laughable attendance figures that get sheepishly announced well after the game is finished in no way reflect the actual attendances at the piggery.

Oh yeah Scottish football is booming. All the fans that said they would attend in droves without Rangers are really working out well for a bunch of clubs.

I'd love Lennon to get a job out with Scotland because he would be found out in record time. He's was handed one (tainted) title on a plate and is trying hard to make winning a second (tainted) title seem interesting with his comedy selections and tactics.

Let's move away from the Old Firm for a minute. Lsitening to radio Scotland, things are looking very grim for Dunfermline. Does anyone know how close they really are to administration / liquidation?

Very. Within the end of the year even with the authorities bending over backward to help them by advancing money to them.

Hearts aren't much better. The rugs about to be pulled from under them now mad Vlad has lost control of his bank.

Both might end up doing a rangers...which is disappointing for anyone they owe money to.

I agree.

If both do go into liquidation, and Scottish football is restructured, the bottom divison will be interesting with Rangers, Hearts and Dunfermline going for the title. It would help bring even more money into the lower levels of the game.

Doubtful. I don't think either have the fan base to make a successful comeback and their grounds are far more likely to be turned into flats or a tesco than Ibrox ever would. ;)

rather negative statement, but typical of a gers fan.

On that basis, no team would make it into the premier league.

You need to remember, most fans in Scotland are content not to have rangers in the premier league...despite rangers bleating
