Being nice to the staff and asking. Obviously since 9/11 you can't go in during flight but once in Paris, they said 'be quick but you can go have a look up there.'
The pilots were great too. Very happy to talk to me.

Not a plane, but just watched a Sparrow Hawk take a House Sparrow from the shed wall beside the kitchen. Amazingly quick. Prior to this the sparrows were being bullied by a Song Thrush & were eating the ants from the gravel whilst carefully avoiding the Starlings further up the garden.

And so have Air France..... They have now put the A380 that was doing the London-Paris trip on to a new route...... Paris to Tokyo.

A UPS 747 has gone down just outside Dubai Airport - we were FaceBooked about it by some friends of ours who live in the Emirate Airways residences (the planes fly over their houses after take off), and saw it go down.

As most of the people who live there are aircrew or their families, you can imagine how they feel. As our friend said

From reading foreverwar's post it seems that may have been a deliberate choice by the crew - as said, thoughts are with their friends & families ..
