Hope Mr T is doing ok after his op, my friend had her knee done two weeks ago and she said she may not get her other one done as it was too painful, Take Care ;)

I normally bake my own seeded semi-wholemeal* bread but at 29p I can't make it for that. The lecky would cost that alone.

*2 parts white, 1 part brown and 1 part wholemeal flour.

l don't know about you but l find as we are nearing middle age wearing comfortable footwear is very important although some of the ladies l know don't seem to have the same idea though in our family.:)

Agreed, and it keeps well if you can resist eating it. The multiseeded white is also very good, more like granary.

Agree about the seeds - the sunflower seeds in the Lidl loaf seemed to almost disappear a few months ago but now seem to be back in decent volume again. Maybe they had complaints. :shrug:

Samsung Galaxy S6 64GB

Went on a little spending spree at IKEA, I ended up spending £250.00 on the rest of the bits for my living space. Crockery, cutlery, utensils etc. safe to say the credit card will be going back in the drawer till it's fully paid. Then I've just a few more appliances to get

If you haven't got one get a steamer. Two or three tier stainless steel. Worth its weight in gold if you like your veggies but hate lots of pots and pans on the cooktop.

A mini drill and accessories off Amazon for £20 delivered. Bit like a Dremmel but much less expensive. I need to do some detailed cutting \ drilling on a PCB and my small Bosch cordless drill is just too big and clumsy.

Looks like it could be handy for other detailed work and fixing.

I sit in the shade and "hydrate" regularly...

When walking around (shopping, sightseeing, etc.) I have Factor 30 and a Panama hat to help protect my very pale (Scottish of Irish extraction) skin.

We went to Fareham town centre today and phewwwww it was very very warm.

Two 450g packs of pork loins for £1.19 each in Lidl this morning. Individually film wrapped and frozen for later use. Prevents them being stuck together and you only need defrost the number that you need.:)

TP-LINK N600 WiFi adapter to connect Tivo downstairs to router. I tried homeplugs but Tivo said much too slow, then very old Netgear adaptor but was prone to stopping. So put this in and have connected upstairs Tivo direct to router rather than via switch and will see how that works.

I use mine on carrots and cucumbers. If you drop the prepared carrot into really hot fat you get wicked low carb crispy spaghetti. :)
