They have to negotiate with VM because they will presumably want to be on a good enough package that they get some money out of being on VM. Then Sky can afford to spend more on channels so negotiations are quicker. |

Wow, a lot of people here who don't care that some (i.e. 11 million people each week) people like The X Factor.
I wasn't suggesting ITV2 HD merely for The X Factor USA as it has other great shows like Celebrity Juice and The Xtra Factor. I've been wanting it since it launched and I was surprised it has taken so long for VM to get the ITV HD channels since they are a large broadcaster that isn't sort of against them (like Sky), and even took a large share in former NTL a few years ago. |
