Trivial compared to the previous posts (get well soon)

Went to start the bike last night to go for a quick blast, nothing, nadda, dead. Will bump start, electrics and ignition all come up just when pressing the button I dont even get a clicking noise.

Loose wire i think, possibly to the clutch. So this weekends job is removing lots of bits of fairing to find the problem.

But on the +side I get the new bike tomorrow

Well they have let me out :hyper::hyper: after a thorough check for possible ICD wound infection or other serious conditions like sepsis and other serious infections although they are still worried if the fever and numbness and pain in the legs of the last 9 days continue indefinitely and thus if the symptoms don't go away which hopefully they will then l will have to contact my GP again in 14 days and would probably have to be re-admitted again.

Thank you everybody for all your kind wishes.:)

Good they let you out, that sounds scary though.

When I had my ICD fitted I complained about deep seated pain around the device location, was advised that possible pocket depth was too shallow!
To relocate to a deeper pocket they said they couldn't guarantee the site to be infection free afterwards.
Forget it I told them, didn't fancy going through the replacement procedure so soon after install!

I may be wrong but weren't you facing some rather unpleasant medical problems a while back? How did they go? Hope the news was good. :tu:

All additional med were to protect the stent from blood blockage, only for 12 months.
Still have wonky heart muscles (that's why ICD fitted).
Still waiting decision on gall bladder removal because of stones, currently on what I would describe as a no fat diet.

Sorry to hear all that. I hope you get a good break sooner rather than later. :tu:

Yes any invasive procedure comes with risks attached RB that is for sure so its important that the patient with their family think carefully about their options before committing to a procedure.

I saw a taxi driver drive 3/4th of a roundabout on the outer lane.....(passing 2 exits).

It's been a long time since I bought a football shirt, the last being Man United's blue Vodafone top which must be circa 2003 however a mate from work recently went out to Thailand where they're ridiculously cheap and brought back a load of different ones and offered me the United 3rd shirt for £10. They're authentic too so I figured I'd be stupid to pass on that so I bought a Large.

When I got home and tried it on it was stupidly tight. I'm not particularly overweight and all my other t-shirts are Large or thereabouts but I could bearly lift my arms. He was happy for me to swap it over for an XL which was much better but still pulls a bit around my back.

When did they start doing that?

I can understand players needing a close fit to help prevent their opponents grabbing them in a game but it's pretty annoying that they make fan-replica shirts just as tight.

The ones that always annoy me at roundabouts are those who intend to drive straight but indicate right as they join it
