I've seen more details of this and it appears that Together TV will be "launching" on Jan 16th on VM channel 269, which is the existing slot for Community Channel. It also describes Together TV as "the latest incarnation of Community Channel". So, basically, just another rebrand dressed up as a channel launch.

The pack it is in on VM is more to do with the carriage terms agreed between VM and the broadcaster than FTA availability on other platforms.

Just to clarify, and further to MB's post, it is included in the Mix, M+, Fun & Full House packs on VM.

Thanks, so this change probably won't affect VM customers.

In the past I have known VM to move channels into the lower packs that have gone FTA eg Really; I suppose that they will have had to amend the carriage terms in order to do this. Oddly enough, Home wasn't moved down when that joined Freeview in 2016. VM made a statement at the time to say that they had no plans to move it (not sure what they've done with it more recently now that it's gone FTA on satellite too).

Not sure if i'm being trolled or not but it could be legit, VM are looking into becoming one of the first providers to offer VR tv, VR is already taking off in the UK and has already began to move into movies and tv in the states and is expected to do the same in uk next year.
Liberty Global are quite keen to bring VR tv programming to their customers globally.
Make of that what you wiil i care not as i'm just passing on what i got told.

If true, it's nice to see VM leading the way!

Maybe this is why VM are delaying 4k they know VR is the next big thing are are investing into that more instead.
Hope it's true i got to see a bit of VR cinema at EGX and it was incredible.

Good to see Sky beginning to beef up it's content. Unfortunately, the best of this is probably destined for Sky Atlantic. Sky One, it seems to me, has lost its way and Sky 2 is pretty superflous except as a Sky 1 + channel.

Is this on or off the EPG? Are you located outside their area?

They aren't allowed to encrypt PSB channels.

Thanks.

Off EPG and yes, I’m in Scotland.

The other AD variants are encrypted.
