Just to add my twopenneth. Sky offered VM, SA at a reasonable charge. But turned it down. I have said this before, and l will repeat it.

The CEO of Sky stated that He offered VM, SA not once BUT twice at a reasonable offer. But VM said NO. VM claimed it was too costly.

Vm, have only themselves to blame if customers are leaving. I walk past there sales reps each day when l go to Hounslow. They ask me abut going to VM. I tell them bluntly that we have VM but have downgraded, due to cost. and that Sky have offered us a deal which we took.

They were shocked and offered us a deal to return to a full package, plus Sports and Movies. And they were £6.00 more expensive.

And don't forget Sky have frozen there prices for FIVE years. VM wont do that

Sky have certainly not frozen prices for 5 years, what they have been doing ks offering customers to stay on their current deal for 5 years without prices going up, i can assure you that sky will put prices up next year for everyone else, just like bt,tt,vm etc will.

That's the deal I'm on. Keep my package at the same price for 60 months. No contract, free to leave when I want. The only thing is adding services such as another multiroom box or SKY Sports in HD seem to knock the offer all over the place. I'm happy just to sit with what I've got. Don't want to rock the boat.

I haven't been here for a few weeks so sorry if it has already been debated but I'm reading an interview with some fella called David Bouchier concerning the launch of VM's 4K set top box offering, he says they "would put the Football on in 4K if they felt that was what the customer wanted"
Ok I've bought a 4K tv, I've subscribed to the new 4K tivo, why on earth if I had sky sports would I not want to watch it in 4K? Why? These people just don't live in the real world, if your buying a new 4K TV this Christmas and sports and Movies are your thing you WOULD NOT take a VM sub, you would go for BT or SKY instead.
Maybe none of you actually want SA, you only think you do, Dave knows best.

Now TV is already out there and yet VM customers still choose both.

By the way, I meant to mention that I was only meaning that the Entertainment Pack should be available as a streaming service on VM, not sports and movies.

Why not? It's already available elsewhere. It's the stand alone channel they won't allow on other platforms, not Now TV.

I disagree. I have the full monty (excluding sports) and I subscribe to the Now TV pack simply to get Sky Atlantic programming. I am not alone in doing so.

I have no wish to abandon VM TV.
