And if they can get Amazon as well to sign on as well then having both integrated into the box is very handy for quite a few of us.

Agreed but that still doesn't negate the fact that you have to pay directly to both companies to subscribe at an additional cost to your VM subscription.

Agreed but then you have to do that with Sky if you want BT Sport which is in VM's top packages...horses for courses.

Agreed but then I haven't claimed BT Sport is part of any of Sky's content.;) It's merely available if you have a subscription with BT.

I think PB is meaning inclusive with your subscription content both Amazon and Netflix require you to outlay even more. All VM are offering is access to your account on their set top box.

Exactly.

Exactly, and if you want the latest channels and 4k ASAP, Sky is the place to be.

Amazon and Netflix can be added to any TV provider's service via inexpensive devices that only need a vacant HDMI socket

Thanks for confirming , VM XL package or whatever it's called these days is superb value for Sports fans with access to Sky Sports Mix and the BT Sport channels.with Eurosport also included.

The Netflix VM Tivo integration is excellent I just don't believe you can class it as VM or BT content when an extra sub is needed.

The big plus of Amazon Prime on a V6 to it being on a Fire Stick is the 4k.
A firestick is not capable of 4K you have to buy the Fire Tv to get 4K which is a lot more but also more powerful.

I'm hoping it appears soon in the new year now I have a V6 on the way

It appears that Kix Power is a VM exclusive.

I had assumed that Sony would be using one of their other childrens channels on other platforms for the duration of Kix Power as has been the case previously.

Very odd indeed.

Don't all mainstream 4k TVs have Amazon on them, or is it just Netflix?

Kix Power will also be shown on Virgin Media Pop up channel* (Channel 100) on Sunday.

*That is what Ofcom is called it.

https://www.ofcom.org.uk/manage-your...cences/updates (See October 2016)

BT Sport 1 will also be shown for the few hours on Monday Night on Channel 100.

Plus as of today ARABIC HAFLA is no longer testing on Virgin Media.

In fairness, and as I have said before, it hadn't been testing anywhere on Virgin Media for quite some time (it wasn't in the Network Information Table for any of the individual networks). Its entry had been left behind in the SDT along with a few other ghost entries. The penalty of relying on the SDT for information is that you will often see these ghost entries after the actual tests are removed from the network.

Kix Power trailer confirms that this Virgin Media exclusive will be available for 5 weeks. It will be interesting to see if is it replaced by the normal Kix channel at the end of that period, as it's available on Sky, Freeview and Freesat so I think Sony would probably like it on Virgin Media too. This could be a popularity test.
