Sorry to hear about the damage to your wisteria Jo. We've had those tearing winds this afternoon and they've shredded the fronds on my Japanese banana palm. It just about gets a whole frond out and then the winds come again.:(

Even when they are not on strike they were still pretty bad old boy according to my family as their trains arrived late and were packed to the rafters like sardines and commuters had to cope with sauna like heat temperatures as well
