They should have just offered the Premier League matches, I think they've dug themselves a large grave.

It's pretty obvious that not many people have it yet, i'm sure when Virgin get it ( crosses fingers etc ) their viewing figures will be much better.

I spoke with a secretary from the CEO's office this morning, and this is the result.

VM are trying to tget BT Sport free, to cusromers on the XL pakage. So that we do not have to pay any extra - this is what the stumbling is.

I said to them that in the end we will be paying for it, l said that over the last 18 months our prices have gone up three times compared to ONCE a year for Sky, she apologised for this. But still insisted that when they are disappointed that its not on despite talks.

So l wouldn't hold your breath about Saturday, l am bitterly disappointed.

Just been on the phone to virgin asking to leave they gave me a £10 discount a month if I signed up to another 12 month contract! I said I don't want to sign up for 12 months contract if there is no bt or espn! She said they are not allowed to say the deal is done but she is 99% sure that bt will be on virgin by saturday.
When I asked if she had any idea theoreticly how much it would cost she said theoreticly it would cost no more that on sky £12! but the went on to say that she thinks it will theoreticly be no where near that price and they are hoping for it to be on the xl pack for free. I said in that case i will accept the 12 month contract and £10 a month discount.

100% certain that someone you speak to in a customer service environment is not going to know a dicky bird about what is happening. It could well work out the way you were told, but it will be pure guess work on that persons behalf.

I'm 100% certain BT Sport WILL be on VM in the next couple of days..but that not by talking to anyone. It would be commercial suicide for either company for BT Sport NOT to have a presence on VM :)

Why give £10 discount, if it was going to definitely come. better to say, it will be here, and have £10 off this month, until it comes.

Good you got the deal, and hope it comes

I asked for the £10 discount they said no and started going through the disconnection stuff.

Then I said wait, they offered me something I didn't want, I said no and put the phone down, so they proceeded to apply that to my account regardless.

Hurry up 3 or 4 tuner Sky.

I also found it very easy, did it all on line and on launch day it was up and running on my sky box. Agree about the gripe regarding only on one box .
