Here are the answers anyway.

1) Nottingham Forest, Boston United, Peterborough United, Macclesfield Town, Southend United, Wycombe Wanderers, Bournemouth.
2) Portsmouth (Lib Dem).
3) Blackburn Rovers (Jack Straw), Norwich City (Charles Clarke).
4) Sheffield Wednesday (David Blunkett), Sheffield United (Richard Caborn)
5) Fulham (Iain and Chris Coleman).
6) Kidderminster Harriers (Independent, Kidderminster Hospital and Health Concern).
7) Bradford City (Terry Rooney).
8) Manchester United (1996 - the 1997 final was two weeks after the election).
9) Charles Clarke (Steve, Chelsea 1997), Paul Boateng (George, Aston Villa 2000), Paul Murphy (Danny, Liverpool 2001), Gordon Brown (Wes, Man Utd 2004).
10) Ray Wilson, Ian Callaghan, Mark Chamberlain. To complete the picture, the other non-Labour 'football constituencies' are: Portsmouth, Leicester City, Chesterfield, Colchester United, Torquay United, Cheltenham Town, Yeovil Town (all Lib Dem), Kidderminster Harriers (KHHC), Shrewsbury Town (Labour defected to Lib Dems).

Good Stuff....

Two men have been charged with riotous behaviour following trouble at last month's Linfield/Glentoran football match at the Oval in east Belfast.

Serious crowd trouble marred the top of the table Irish Premier League clash between the two Belfast teams.

Rival fans threw missiles and fought on the pitch. Nine police officers and two fans were injured. A 20-year-old man was convicted of rioting last week.

they used to be Red Star Belgrade but have since changed their name.. I have a copy of the team sheet from when Man U played them in 58 and that has Crvena Zvezda written on then so it seems they were always known as that just we called them something different.

also this is from the UEFA rule book

At the request of the national association concerned, the UEFA Champions
League title-holders may be entered for this competition, as an additional
representative of that association, if they have not qualified for the UEFA
Champions League via the top domestic league championship. If, in such a
case, the title-holders come from an association entitled to enter four teams
for the UEFA Champions League, the fourth-placed club in the top domestic
league championship has to be entered for the UEFA Cup.
