Exactly :D

I should have said V6 slate as FAST services are blocked from legacy Tivos by using the "4K" versions of the subscription codes.

What message (if any) does that prompt on a TiVo or are they “off EPG”.

The channels will be greyed out on the EPG and will generate a popup prompt - something similar to: this channel needs a subscription - press OK to subscribe. Confusing for viewers, as they can't subscribe to view them on a legacy Tivo box. I guess it is just easier to use subscription codes to block the channels than to dump new firmware to these old boxes to give viewers a more appropriate message.

11 of the 15 prospective FAST channels launched overnight. Although the red button prompts are displayed on V6 boxes they don't appear to have been activated in time for the launch.
Talk TV has closed and is replaced with an information slate on channel 606.
Local TV channels with Talk TV branding and using Talk TV as a sustaining service have reverted to their previous names.

The red button now seems to have been fixed.

To be fair 4 out of 15 FAST Channels did start to test about 4 to 7 days later then a ones that launch today.

Sort of but not really. That just seemed to be an interim measure until the services moved into slots released by the Pluto TV FAST channels. They were never going to work on the V6 so didn't need V6 launch slates.

From the UKCTVC Blog:

Quote:

Changes to Video Slates:

SID 802 - The slate on Video PID 201 changed from 5 Cops to Hell's Kitchen.
SID 806 - The slate on Video PID 601 changed from CSI: New York to Egg Heads.
SID 809 - The slate on Video PID 901 changed from Catfish to UKTV Play Laughs.

I very much doubt it.

Sky Sports+ looks to be a total revamp of the existing service, both channels & streaming content.

The updated background app that runs it is already on the Horizon platform boxes, & a TiVO version for the V6 is due to be rolled out later this year.

I expect so. The blog gives a start date for the French Open, so that seems to be the consensus, repeating the pattern of what Eurosport has done in previous years.
