Definitely, Tony Barrett is usually spot-on. I think the crux is whether or not either club decides to make a serious bid and I don't think we have in the end with Markovic looking set to join next week so he will probably go to Arsenal or a.n. other club. It makes sense for the media to keep Liverpool's interest in the frame to big-up the fees though.

I don't think Sanchez would have ever been seen as a direct replacement for Suarez, but, I can see why he would be reluctant to be seen as a makeweight in a transfer.

I'm not sure how to feel about this. I would have liked to see him in an Arsenal kit this coming season, he'll add decent depth as well.
