Look at how long it took them to resolve the youtube streaming issues at the end of last year for example. The virgin fan clun cxan't deny that one ;)

Again goes to show how bad virgins network is compared to sky.

:LOL::rofl:

By the logic of your argument, "Saying that video streaming is working for you at the moment proves nothing of value" should be applied to the Sky BB experience too:rolleyes:

Stop trolling and grow up.

Oh the irony ;)

I have never had any streaming problems since I moved to Sky. Not many Virgin customers can say that unless they don't actually stream, as the streaming problems affecting all customers even hit the media a few months back. I was a virgin customer for numerous years so I am aware of how bad their local network issues are and how often they rear their head, along with how they affect streaming.

So I have an educated view on this compared to yourself who just wants be shouty and make silly claims while contributing no actual argument of any merit.

Remember a small minority will always make their views heard if they have problems but please remember the vast majority of people have no problems at all but you of course being anti Virgin cannot see that or don't want to see that.:)

Guess the media got the 'all' bit wrong then, because it didn't affect me. The media getting something wrong? Wow, that's a real shocker!

You've quoted a typical Register (media) non-story i.e. re-hash an old story with nothing but fluff.

The original story is here: http://www.theregister.co.uk/2012/11...uffering_woes/

Where it is admitted by VM, and accepted by your source, that some customers very having problems with some sites due to a problem with one of their peering agreements.

I remember the article you posted from when it first came out as I was surprised at the time as I have not had any issues with streaming or large scale file transfers but digging a little got to the real truth i.e. just some customers and some streaming sites.

If they budge Living next to Sky1 they can fit all BBC/ITV/Sky channels in order in a row, don't know how happy UKTV would be though.

Mod comment - could I strongly recommend we keep on topic, and streaming/YouTube is not the topic in this thread.
