Re: Close Season Gossip & Rumour Thread
can't believe Rossi has gone he was a great talent and really deserved to play. he's far better than Richardson but Fergie would never play him. I'm sure in a few years we will want him back but by then it will be too late.
This means on the striker front we have Rooney - Top class talent but i still worry about how many goals he will get in a season Smith - Puts the effort in and always tries we need more like him at the club Saha - Will never play as not fit Ole - Legend but he's too old and can't really perform any more Hopefully Ronnie can bang in a few from the wings like last year but I think it's time to stop saying Giggs can play up front. maybe some of the new boys Nani and Anderson will get a few too. I'm sure i've read one of them can play up front or in the whole. I keep getting mixed up with which one is which at the moment though |

Re: Close Season Gossip & Rumour Thread
It seems that West Ham United will come out of the Tevez deal smelling of roses at least.
WHU were fined £5.5m by the Premier League for the original transfer saga from MSI, however, MSI are now deemed to pay WHU between 1m and 3m pounds for the release of Tevez to be transfered to Man Utd......this coupled with their earnings next season for staying in the Premiership could be as much as £15m. £15m - £5.5m + lets say £3m = £12.5m, not bad West Ham fine MSI Settlement Now it looks like this saga will be settled at last :tu: I am still confused over the Mascherano deal though, that seemed to go through without a hitch. |
Re: Close Season Gossip & Rumour Thread
The Mascherano deal went through because of the third party agreement, we couldn't stop him being moved on, by having that clause removed in the Tevez contract, we could.
Tbh I would have preferred it if we had fought the original charges harder now, whatever the outcome, the amount of lies, lazy reporting and agendas’ the club has had to put up with is a joke, added to that, legal opinion seemed to suggest that we could have driven a dump truck through rule 18 at the time |

I wonder how much money the guy that owns this site is making out of this
http://www.myfootballclub.co.uk/ Interest on £1.375m ? And I wonder which club will be bought out. It will not be Cambridge according to this http://www.cambridge-united.premiumt...084172,00.html |

Its one of those nice-idea-in-theory-but-is-always-doomed-to-fail concepts.
Some things aren't meant to be run by democracy. I think one of the populist ideas that cripple clubs these days is when you have the manager, director of football and an over-eager chairman. |

It goes to penalties - this does not look good :(
