Hangover cure - bacon, sausage, fried egg, black pudding, mushroom sandwich, washed down with freshly squeezed orange and a strong cup of fresh ground coffee. The strange thing is I didn't even have that much to drink but I don't do it often so I must be out of practice :shocked:.

Just about to go to the local Carvery with friends where large quantities of roast meats, roast potatoes and various veg will be consumed with copious amounts of red wine drank to wash it all down. :)

Butternut squash ravioli (easiest way to describe it), but fried not boiled, with garlic ciabatta - all homemade. Mrs G had day off today and has been cooking. Not quite as nice as the version her grandmother used to make but still superb. If only her grandmother hadn't taken the recipe to her grave with her - the last bit is Mrs G's comment not mine!!

Be careful looking for the special offers. The other day, we ran out of washing liquid (for clothes). They had a special offer on the small bottles (buy one, get so much off of the second), but when I worked it out, by taking advantage of the offer, I'd have paid more than I did for the large bottle, for less liquid.

It's worth pointing out that Sainsbury's are far from the only company that does this.

I agree just because its on offer it is not always the cheapest option. Asda ( & Walmart) are well known ( it my Family) for running daft offers.
