Yes, but you don't need streaming to allow you to watch programmes when you want.
You use a well established and reliable method, called recording, which works extremely well with devices such as the Virgin Media V6.

No way...:shocked::shocked:

Everyone is different in how they enjoy tv, what is ideal for one person may not be ideal for someone else :)

Indeed but some with their streaming rose tinted glasses on can't seem to it any other way then their way.;)

Yep, but you have to fast forward those bloomin adverts ;):D

My package has SD Sky channels, but the shows I watch on those channels, I watch via Now TV; primarily because of no add breaks.

No rose tinted glasses here, I am nearly 50 and if I had the choice to stream several seasons of a series I would do like I did with Game of Thrones over a 6 week period.

Are you seriously saying you would rather watch a season of something over a 10 month period rather than be able to watch it as often as you wanted when you wanted and without all those bloody commercials as that is just crazy. Lol

Well, you'd better get a move on, because according to Den, on your 50th birthday, the whole world gets frozen in aspic.

I must say, I saw my 50th birthday over a decade ago, and there's no aspic in sight. So far....

Bang on, scheduled TV events are hardly ever watched at the screened time in my house, apart from live football or live major sports events, and i'm even older than 50.....:shocked: :D

Well, Den, there are many of us who take the view that time is valuable and if I can squeeze in an extra show in a three hour period, then I will do so. I will no longer be bound by schedules and interminable advertisements.

However, I have to concede that when the day comes that I am sat in my chair in a daze, with a daft smile on my face and dribbling, I may no longer care. Hopefully, that time is a long way into the future, but of course by then the linear channels will have gone and I will end up just looking at the Netflix sign because I no longer have the ability to understand what I am watching!

Or maybe some of us prefer streaming to linear tv.

We have a long wait, not due to screen until 2019 according to the link above.
