How could anyone deny that having all episodes available to stream at a time that suits you is inferior to having to wait on a weekly basis ?

A considerable amount of people over 50 prefer it that way as they are very much creatures of habits and perhaps when you reach that milestone perhaps you might have that way of thinking as well MM.;)

That's the beauty of On Demand Den ;)

You can watch all in one go , daily , weekly , monthly etc etc.

When you want not when the broadcaster tells you.

Wait till you reach 50 MM and the kids have flown the nest or perhaps not as in many ways what we do when one was younger and what we do when one is older can often be vastly different in many different aspects .;)

Can't see why turning 50 would change anything I do now Den , I already watch and enjoy linear I'm not arguing it won't be here my point was its hard to argue that waiting weekly for something to come on is superior to having it all to view when you choose.

You'll be advocating I should change back to VHS when I turn 50 next.

Actually we still have some VHS tapes in a storage box ;) and you only have to look at the comeback of black vinyl to never say never.;)

Nonsense. The only services where whole season streaming is a available, is pay services. I accept that they may not think that expense is worth it, or may be anxious about how to access these services, but are you saying that if the BBC offered the option of whole series or weekly, over 50s would choose weekly?

Fiddlesticks quite a few over 50s i know have taken to streaming like a duck to water and have said how much better it is to be able to watch programmes when you want to watch them not when networks tell you too.

Yes, but you don't need streaming to allow you to watch programmes when you want.
You use a well established and reliable method, called recording, which works extremely well with devices such as the Virgin Media V6.

Everyone is different in how they enjoy tv, what is ideal for one person may not be ideal for someone else :)
