Your teaming getting knocked out of the FA Cup is justification for bringing up the tragic deaths of 96 people? I don't think so.

Seeming as we probably would have won teh initial tie, then yes... as it cost us the chance of a cup final (the only thing BC [RIP] didn't win), it affected our players immensely... and it was the attitude of a few liverpool supporters that ruined it.

Trust me on this one... the vast majority of forest fans are still touche about Hillsborough. Most of us can't stand Liverpool, partly from the late 70s/early 90s, partly for Hillsborough. I was only 5ish when it happened but the resentment is still pretty massive...

fair play about the 96 dead... but it still causes a problem with fans.

Do you have ANY compassion at all?

How many people died in Munich... and still, 10 years later you were still good enough to win the champions league.

Fine, just don't drag us all down with you.

Fair enough but the obituaries, and attitudes of other fans, are p!ssing me off, even though I've accepted this for months.

And really, that's all I have to say.

Maybe - but not on cf.co.uk

You know where the 'report this post' feature is.

I'm sure that the people who died at Hillsborough are so sorry that they spoilt Forest's trip to Wembley.

Oh and by the way, you might not have realised, but me and Russ are Man Utd fans, who don't generally have any nice feelings towards Liverpool. But we still wouldn't call Liverpool about the deaths.

I think that this debate was caused by your insensitive attitude towards the Munich disaster.

init... we need a kick up the ar*e to be honest. Play garbage in the league and do well in europe, and to cap it all off, if we win the champions league and not finish 4th, we wont get chance to defend the trophy.

nffc: I was 7 at the time of Hillsborough, and I thought it was a tragedy at the time and still do - nobody deserved what happened to them that day. I know many many people who feel the same as I do (and no, they're not all Liverpool fans). Do you always show the same level of maturity that I have seen grace this board over the past few weeks?

As a Liverpool fan, there is no love lost when it comes to United, but I would never comment on what happened in Munich... that is just sick.

I usually use names like Manure and stuff instead ;) but errrrm... seeing as we're below Everton at the moment, I'll shut up now :disturbd:

How many... even last week I was clinging to the mere morsel of hope by beating Burnley. Cardiff away was the turning point for me though.

Yeah, but very few of the Chelsea players they signed then are still there, and very few of the ones left are still active. Gudjohnsen and Lampard possibly the only two I can think of.

In any case, there was evidence the Chelsea coffers had dried up pre-RA. The close-season before, only one free signing had been made- Jurgen Macho... hardly illustrious. Yet they still finished fourth.

When I say enough, I do actually mean it. I have removed the arguments since my warning yesterday. Please play nice now people and refer to each others teams respectfully, otherwise this topic will suffer relegation to division "closed". Thank you :)
