After 18 years of trouble free driving from my Daewoo Lanos SX 1.6. (which has been more loyal and trouble free than the first wife) I have purchased a newish Citreon C3 Picasso, with 12,150 miles on the clock on a 2013 Plate. 1 Years warranty + 1 years road tax in May 2017 thrown in.

The main Christmas food shop as it opened at 6 this morning but even then the big car park is three quarters full as they all rush in with their trolleys as soon as it opens.

Should have got it delivered Den, far less stress. Get Amazon to deliver the pressies and no need to mix with the mad cold infected desperate masses ;) Some people like all that for some reason.

We all like to pick our fresh veg and fruit for starters as we can get the best date then and see what it looks like and we also like to pick meats and other things we can see with our own eyes too Mr K.

Yes we do do get quite a lot from Amazon come Christmas Mr K.

I shall be up the allotment Xmas morning digging my parsnips up, can't get fresher than that. I refuse to grow or eat sprouts, they should be banned on humanitarian grounds ;)

Well we have no garden as such Mr K so that option is not available.

I've got virtually all the tools etc. I want/need so am now increasingly deprived of opportunities to justify treating myself to more. :(

A lot can be achieved in planters and tubs you know. Even a decent window sill can yield plenty of nice stuff like herbs, chillies, cherry tomatoes etc. With your exotic tastes chillies would be right up your street I'd have thought Den. :)

Yes we will certainly think about a few planters and tubs once we get into the New Year Osem.
