United will beat Real, I fancy Arsenal to slap Bayern too, Podolski will love to score a few.

But they cant actually see me :D

I think we really need to sort out our defence issues if we have any chance of progressing

I can see real and Bayern going through. You can poke the bear, but he won't like it

I honestly feel we can turn over Bayern. If we build on the game we played vs Reading and make signings in January I don't see why we cannot progress.

I thought Lady Bracwell whatever her name is was going to sell her shares to Usmanov though? And is a money laundering drug baron really the sort of person Arsenal fans want running their club? I would stop supporting them if they ever let Usmanov get 100% control of the club.

Lady Nina sold her shares to Stan a while back.

I don't like Usmanov either. Ideal scenario would be the club is owned by the fans or a collection of people as it was before.

Dunno how I missed that, so Usmanov has no-one willing to sell him their shares then? I can't see fans willing to part with their shares to let an outsider into the club.

The fans don't own enough anyway. It's like 2/1% belong to the fans now.

there are a few that are selling to Usmanov having successfully negotiated a price for each share. Usmanov is offering more for each share than Stan did or has.

From a business point of view and overall fee for everything... so long as Usmanov buys that 1 share that put him dead 30% is cheaper than the rest he'll be ok. What I mean by that is whatever price Usmanov pays for that 1 share that puts him dead 30% will be the price he'll have to offer for each remaining share. Basically rules state Usmanov will have to put in a bid to take over once he reaches 30% and whatever price he paid for that share that took him to 30% will be the price he'll have to offer everyone for the takeover bid.

EDIT: Misread what you said. He can make an offer but Stan won't have to accept.
