Re: Football Season 2013/14 & Summer Window

Just back in from OT, United have reverted to last seasons successful formula, play crap at the start, gift the opposition a scrappy goal then fight back.

It has not been great watching them this season and I must say the first 45 minutes was about the worst I have seen for a very long time, could have subbed all 11 at the break. Stoke did revert to type later on, chopping down anything that moved near them.

Not really fair to blame Moyes, they where very poor last season at the start as well, everyone else just played worse last time.

I think United are lucky. As already said, if that had been One of the current top four that'd have been finished at half time.

I think blaming and calling it a bad squad is hilarious. Rooney and RVP alone are worth more than that Stoke team. It seems to me select groups with blame anything but Moyes.

So the top three sides in the Prem are also in the top four youngest sides.

Hopefully bodes well for the future. ;)

Owen wants to stick to owning horses.

I Just want to ask the footie forum, If there are any Fleetwood Town supporters on here? How can they justify their fans actions today? Personally I don't want to see a return to the 80's. Today a few brought a few vivid memories back.

Yes I will say it, after years campaigning for #SafeStanding today actions by THE few at Bootham Crescent #ycfc away fans spoilt it.

I think that's what David Moyes' idea is.

I popped along to the boro game on Friday night. 20k turnout and a 4-0 win. Pretty decent atmosphere and only 12 quid for a ticket. Unveiled a big banner saying we built the world. Well worth the 12 quid. Only other time I'd been to the Riverside was with Newcastle in the away end.

Derby day anyway. Sunderland and Dave, Kindly bend over... The French Legion are coming.

Yes, looking forward to today, two big games.

My head says newcastle, but derby game, anything could happen.

Obviously hoping for A Man City win...encouraged by the mind games of chelsea, though I though pelligrini reacted well.

Dortmund don't want him going to Bayern, they will try to do everything to avoid that. theres a bargain here for Wenger. not sure on player demands though.
