Apart from about 15 minutes early last night, I am still having no problems, have never had to specify a proxy.

Monkey thanks for those numbers to ring - I was just annoyed that if I end up with any problems on a weekend there never seems to be anyone there to fix it - BB aside given I can call the people in Swansea - TV on the other hand..... I am still using the proxy that I was given and my browsing is fine at the moment, but I thought the idea was that you don't need to specify a proxy, you just surf the net and get serviced by whichever one is not overloaded or too busy?

At the end of the day, it doesn't make a difference whether you specify a proxy or not, because even if you don't specify one, you will go through one transparently anyway.

Yeah I know if I don't specify one I will go through one transparently, but thats when I have the problems surfing if I am left to be allocated one. I am gonna stick with the settings I have at the moment as its working fine.....that is until it all goes tits up as usual!
