Hi, I'm Jerrek from a little country called Canada. I found this err... amusing website after reading something about NTL on fark.com. Funny company eh?

I'm 20, male, a second year student at the University of Waterloo. I've got 4 Mbps cable internet from Cogeco and a full DirecTV satellite package.

:)

Hi thanks. Feels err... interesting to be among you limeys. Err. God save the Queen, eh?

My cable costs me about $65 a month, of my crappy currency, the Canuck dollar. Apparently, "1 Canadian Dollar = 0.44243 British Pound" so that would come to about err, 28.76 pounds a month.

How do you write a pound symbol? Err, I mean type. I don't have one on my keyboard.

That includes 640 Kbps up. The cable company also offers a regular package because not everyone is as speed hungry as me. (I have the Pro package.) The basic one is same speed down but only 320 Kbps up (half of the pro package). It costs $45 a month I think... err, 19.91 pounds.

EDIT: I guess I could add that I'm lucky. My cable company is very friendly and isn't giving me any trouble. I got cable from then about 3 years ago, and it was initially only 2 Mbps. Then they expanded it to 4 Mbps and lowered the price by $5. I'm online all the time. More than 99.9% uptime from what I can tell. Never been down. Pings are great, and I really love my cable company. A lot. I always get full speed, which means they probably take care not to overload the nodes. Sometimes I get even more than what I'm supposed to get, which is weird...
