THE Government today unveiled 10 sanctions:

Individual sanctions against more than 100 Russian oligarchs and their entities
Banning Russia's flag carrier Aeroflot from landing in the UK
An asset freeze for all major Russian banks including giant VTB
Legislation banning Russian firms from raising finance on UK markets
Ban dual export licences to Russia from today
Banning high-tech exports to Russia
Limit the amount Russians can deposit in UK bank accounts
Shut off Russia's access to the Swift global payment system
Extend these sanctions to co-aggressors Belarus
Bring forward the Economic Crime Bill to make it easier to go after dirty money

I cannot believe you’re defending that idiot. So what if he spoke 6 hours ago. He raised the Palestinian issue in a session for Ukraine. Totally inappropriate. Thankfully we dodged a bullet, he could have been our PM.

The protest's are not just happening in St Petersburg it is much wider invoking "Nazism" has completely backfired on Putin and there are serious rumblings within the Russian military. I doubt it's about Ukraine but what the next Putin target will be that's if Putin can control the various internal aspect's stacking against him. There is a tremendous amount of intelligence and information coming in more then anyone can process speedily but it's clear that Russia is very far from united on this.

According to Martin Lewis due to this gas prices have increased 40% today alone. Lets hope this is all short lived mainly to keep down the loss of lives but also not to punish me in the pocket

There is also some irony in that the main reason the Azov Battalion exists in the first place, which is partly what Putin will be referring to, is the 2014 conflict.
