Speaking of the Paralympics, I'm liking the billboard adverts for Channel 4's coverage of them that simply say "Thanks for the warm-up" :D

Clearly we've let the LOSERS out today. They clearly haven't heard that we're winners now. BOOO losers, who do they think they are? The Australians?

Put the BBC on the equivilent of ignore. We do ;)

Plenty of other channels with no mention of the O word and at least my redtop puts most of the coverage in a supplement that can be swiftly consigned to the recycle bin.

Whilst I'm pleased for the competitors that have done the country proud, those of us who have no interest in sport are not best served by that national broadcaster at the moment.

Well I can find plenty to watch..that isn't Olympics..So can my OH who is driving me crazy watching TMC's endless cowboy films..:banghead:

Sorry to say to all you sports people But there is hardly a Tv station without it.

Assuming you have VM's TV service (I know some on here don't) and if you discount the 24 special channels there are exactly TWO channels showing the Olympics full time.

So not anywhere near "hardly a TV station without it"

And if you mean that hardly any TV stations don't mention it at all then duh! It's only the biggest sporting event most of us will see in our lifetime. Of course it's going to be talked about.

Quite enjoyed the olympics, after spending the last year + moaning about getting indoor volleyball and greco Roman wrestling as well, the volleyball was ok and the wrestling really was something special, fantastic crowd and atmosphere, would go again without doubt to it.

I don't "get" Dressage and I don't particularly like or agree with Boxing, but I'll celebrate any British win :)
