Can you blame him though for sacking his dad who didn't have a clue as to how to be a manager.. Just look how long he lasted as Paul di Resta's manager. A bad manager could cost you millions over a season..

True, but however rubbish he is as a manager, at least Hamilton wasn't behaving like a moron like he is now.

He made a simple error on a tweet (I wonder how many of us have emails/posted/said something whcih we wish we'd never said/sent)

All the drivers display a level of arrogance, well the F1 fans do put them on a pedestal (physically and morally) each time they do well yet we moan when they make a simple mistake.

At least Lewis and Jenson seem to be more down to earth these days unlike the time just after their championships unlike some drivers who became so arrogant that they seemed to think they could never do wrong (like Schumacher)

Yes people make mistakes, but I think you're underestimating the importance and significance of the information he put in to the public domain. This is a bigger story than the crash in my opinion.

I'm on no way underestimating the importance, but it was a mistake though one that didn't involve danger to others (like the crash) and is purely between him and McLaren.

You'll probably find that more data is given out by the TV cameras when showing the video of the teams telemetry screens during practice than a single page of a some telemetry output especially when there is no wing/brakes/engine setting data as a reference point for the data shown.

Re: Formula 1 2012 season

Had the cars been set up similarly I might agree that this wasn't quite the big deal that it actually is, but these were two very different set ups, and on the basis of qualifying there was a significant difference in performance. There is a hell of lot of information given away for free across the entire performance range. I didn't say it was more dangerous than the crash. Clearly it wasn't and Grosjean has got the very least he deserves - actually I think he's got lucky - but this was no mistake from Hamilton it was a serious error of judgement made in anger at his team and probably of the back of being taken out of the race at the very start. Its appalling behaviour, and incredibly unprofessional from somebody who earns a lot of money and isn't yet assured of his drive for next season - it could, and should, affect his future career. Its a massive massive story.

Did you know the setups of JB's and LH's cars, did the other teams? That's the whole point in that unless you know the setup the telemetry data is useless as there is no reference point to compare it against.. Yes the team would have been peeved and within their rights to ask for removal as it's private data but it's not as problematic as the media has made it out to be or the tyre kicking private race car building wannabee individuals think it is... The whole point being that yes he was wrong to release private data but it would not have helped the other teams.. Also it in no way will stop him getting a drive next year probably again for McLaren..

And yet Christian Horner is

. As for the other, we'll. He may well remain at McLaren, but I think its telling that the other top teams have already passed.

With Mercedes latest form I doubt if Hamilton is that stupid... Weirder things though have happened.. Personally though I just think it's the backlash from the tweet/crash/people who think they know his every thoughts..

Yes l for one hope its not true because if he is to win the championship again then he's only going to do that with either his current team or with Red Bull or Ferrari.

Read the story, he's not doing it, it's a rumour and negotiations are still going on, don't read anything into these stories of drivers moving until a statement is made

Shame. I've gone right off Hamilton lately, my hope is that no-one signs him for next season.
