Doesnt the box download the epg data for last 7 days or does eachh day have to pass before you can go back to it?

That was precisely what happened in my case. The TiVo never downloaded anything to the epg before the day that it was installed. Hence the full week before I had seven days backward EPG.

This is the point. I always thought it only downloads data forward of the day of your install; i.e. the latter. Others seem to assume the former. And, with all due respect, it seems that I am right :)

Carl are you ever wrong ;)

But if you ring up today you should get free install. Tomorrow, the install will be £40.

Yes but there is someone who is claiming that they have been advised by Virgin Media when trying to order today with free install that there is a better offer coming tomorrow!

Can you honestly see that though ? There would be a lot of pipped off pre reg customers.

Exactly my sentiment from my earlier post #3120. I would be very annoyed, having pre-registered and waited patiently with a promise of a treat.

You would have every right to be , I wouldn't worry it's probably some idiot posting nonsense.

Sunday would also be a strange day for something like that too.

Could it be sales trying to get more on their commission:confused:

New Tivo offer tomorrow?
I phoned yesterday to order the 1tb Tivo, it was suggested that I call back tomorrow as there is a better offer to be had. Anyone?
That means that they called yesterday Friday 29th April and they were advised to call back today Saturday 30th April.

By the way I was in work earlier and saw no mention of a special Saturday offer for TiVo, I may be wrong though.
