What I want to know is what's wrong with Nine Elms for the US embassy? Plus why blame Obama for Bush's decision to move it.

Or he doesn't care. Besides he is unlikely to admit it's because people would be mean to him.

I can answer both those points.

Trump is a tool who doesn't check facts before spouting nonsense.

The first part of your post is right.

He doesn’t give a toss about Protests, he had met many of them on his campaign trail, has had many on some of his rallies as President.

I would say, he doesn’t want to come to London because of his current spat with Sadiq Khan, the worst London Mayor, London has ever had given it’s current issue with crime being on the up massively.

Actually, I should imagine from a security point of view, Nine Elms would have some advantages over the old embassy. For a start, I'll bet it has state of the art security systems and design features built in. Grosvenor square probably had the best security it could, but it was designed and built before 1960. It undoubtedly had the best security features designed into it then, but that was 50 years ago. The threats faced have changed. Also, the Thames makes a potentially handy escape route should something happen at the embassy.

However, Trump actions here are what prompted my comments elsewhere about the Trump playbook. Even though this development was planned under the Bush administration, he isn't blaming the republicans. He is blaming the democrats.

So, you are saying you don't think he is coming here because he is having an argument with someone who isn't even in power over the country? What is he? 12?

I like Boris’s comment:
Quote:

The US is the biggest single investor in the UK - yet Khan & Corbyn seem determined to put this crucial relationship at risk. We will not allow US-UK relations to be endangered by some puffed up pompous popinjay in City Hall.

Kahn doesn't have the power to ban Trump from London and wouldn't be part of the visit. Is he such a snowflake that's he won't come whilst Kahn is Mayor?

Would be nice if he tweated he was wrong regarding the Obama/Embassy comment but he’s far too arrogant for that.

Not defending Sadiq Khan but crime is on the up throughout the country due to austerity and the severe budgetary restrictions because of that and London is not exempt from that.

Well well, Trump denies using Shithole as language used in latest tweet. Guess we will never know, it was a private meeting, unless there is tapes.....

Still waiting for Wolff to release the tapes he said he had.

He had no choice seeing as The UN have condemned his comments as racist.

Why would he do that? He's got no one's permission to do so and the accounts in his book aren't in dispute.
