Sadly unless vm have had a change of heart long wait on universal hd I'm afraid I was told in July they don't value it enough to obtain,total joke with all the new shows that are on/starting on it and that sd pq is one of the worst I've ever seen.thank god I can switch the sky box on and each in hd ;)

Isn't it about time they implemented a simple software drop to remove by option, standard def channels - can't stand hunting out the HD channel equivalents

Although it would be nice to do, I doubt it's simple to achieve - especially when you have consider series links, and the fact that Virgin have both V boxes and TiVo that can receive HD channels
