That amount of yellow is relatively normal/low on VM. Given the level of the blue, no more than 1 in 20 packets are actually hitting that latency.

Mine seems stable now since i managed to change 1 of the 2 upstream channels from 4 to 5.

Going by the amount of blue in the graph, it looks fairly stable. Many other virgin customers would drool at the consistency you have  Do you actually notice any bad effects from that connection?

Seems there was a bit of high utilisation on my line last night:

Nice. Congestion problems at Christmas, fixed in two weeks. Makes a change from you-know-who...

Never before have I witnessed such desperation in a post XD

Yeah, that exchange was noticed and the fix is due Monday. Would love to see the percent of vm's over utilisation issues which take 2+ weeks to resolve as im betting it is 95% of them or something similarly silly :)

Looks like changing the channel didn't cure my problem.

My problem is that the minimum latency creeps up on a slope after several hours and then the maximum latency gets unstable, has anyone seen this before, do you think it is a fault with my modem or a general fault in my area?

Below is an example of where my above link is heading in a day or so.

How do you justify that, TH?

sorry bad wording. its happening to a lot of VM customers at different times. VMs network is at fault. ive got feeling its come about since route work was done.

Hi we've made some tweaks to our core network routing that should hopefully improve things and we're going to monitor the situation over the next few days so if you could continue to give us feedback on this we'd appreciate it
Not sure if this is related to the Croydon area network issues in the same thread or something else. Don't want to speak too soon but the last 24 hours my connection has been better than any moment in the last 6 months. Oversubscribed UBR fix date is still 3 months away though.

Probably coincidence. Would be typical for VM to find a major core routing problem and fix it 1 week before all my services are cut.

i dont think it was only related to Croydon.
