New shows and and movies aswel as access to older films, lets hope HD was in this deal.

my best guess would be due to capicty and wanting ot launcha few otheers as well, from what i have heard there is anther 3-4 plus maybe one other new one like cc hd above

Don't forget that with US imports HD also equals widescreen so even if the extra resolution isn't made much use of the fact that it's not in 4:3 is good. Just see the HD episodes of The Simpsons as an example.

Couldn't be bothered to look through this thread but I can confirm that Comedy Central HD will drive on VM Sept 1st. Sorry to add this but sky get it Aug 9th.

Is there any chance we will get Sky News HD with Sky 1 HD and Sky Arts HD?

AND

When we do get Sky1 HD, and Sky soon get Sky2 HD as an exclusive to them. What are the chances they will shaft VM customers again and move WWE Superstars to Sky 2 HD?

I just don’t think VM will stop @ 30 HD channels - I would prefer VM to get rid of rubbish TV channels and these +1 + 2 channels.

We have a huge on demand and catch up TV we don’t really need +1/Delayed TV.

I would rather have fewer TV channels but with a better line up.

How many people watch ITV4 +1 Watch + 1 etc - I would rather have Animal Plant HD and History HD added.

Its my personnel opinion but I feel +1 is dead and with both VM/Sky providing more on demand, catch up TV and these IPlayers we just don’t need them.

Maybe get some US exports

I often use the +1 channels. If there's 3 things I want to record on at the same time, I can record one of them off the +1 channel where available.
