The only man that should be in the manager's seat at Chelsea is Jose Mourinho.

Naturally the next Man United manager :D/QUOTE]

I think you are right about Chelsea expecting to win every trophy possible every single year and its not realistic. Yes its possible as you say Barca have done it and of course in 1999 Man Utd do the treble so only not winning 1 trophy but i dont see ANY club doing the treble for a very long time

Mourinho will no doubt be the next Man Utd manager

Just seen the Fellani incidents on Sky Sports News HD and i am shocked on what he had done, different things in 1 match. I hope gets a punishment or im sure there will be a big fuss kicking off

I thought SAF said he wanted Moyes, not Mourinho

Arsenal don't have much to gain from delaying the signature, the pressure is all on them. They stand to lose an asset whereas Walcott doesn't really lose much unless he gets seriously injured. Instead he can get a bigger signing on bonus and/or wages from a new club if he signs on a free transfer.

Arsenal won't offer £100,000 a week for Walcott and he'll leave. The rest of it is a just a PR game. Walcott will continue to find other reasons he cannot sign and Arsenal will keep saying they want a deal. They are at an impasse. Arsenal won't offer much more and they're too far apart on the salary.

Also this isn't tabloid fodder or Goal.com invented tripe. It's the BBC and the reporter, David Ornstein, is very reliable. He was the only reporter to say M'Vila wasn't '99.9%' done in the Summer, which was correct, he got the Podoski signing correct (when it was actually done rather than speculation). So I don't have reason to doubt him this time. He reports transfer rumours very rarely and is right when he does: https://twitter.com/bbcsport_david

Theres no real talks. Theos off. When you pay useless 50k then those offering something will want 100k. Wengers created this. I don't blame players leaving. THEY wanted an extra head or two come in to push us on BUT Wenger hellbent screwed it all. Don't tell me its the going rate because it isn't. Even if he signs it'll be papering over the cracks.

Arsene Wenger needs replacing and new blood needs to be put in the boardroom.

You never know what Arsene will do in the January transfer window. He may splash out and then you might start having a good run

oh please not more about Wenger. Let's start a 'bash Wenger thread' if we have too but I cannot cope with another 5 pages about how Wenger is the cause of all world evil and no other football talk.

I think United might be concerned about that Mourinho won't stay in one place for long. United have seen the benefits of a long term approach with a manager and may want the same next time..

im just saying its his fault before people start blaming players. whats the point in blowing smoke? so Wenger can carry on trying to prove what? narrowly grabbing 4th or 3rd?

im not stopping football talk. im stopping bullcrap, misleading views being put across with regards to this on going problem.

I see your point but i reckon that if Mourinho accepted the job then he will stay for a long time. Apart from Mourinho and Pep i dont see who else would be a good manager for us. People can say that its not an issue at the moment and yes you are correct but its just a matter of time before SAF calls time and retires. I can even see it happening if we win the league and Champs League this year.

There are loads of good managers out there. Moyles isn't a bad shout but there are a number of coaches out there who aren't as well known in the UK. Klopp is one, Rémi Garde from Lyon is another. It may be a surprise choice, you never know.

I think that would be good. Redknapp is a good manager IMO. Far better than Kenny :D

I can't remember where I heard it, might have been paddy Barclay categorically saying it last night although tbh I'm no fan of him and I've never even heard of this,BBC guy and what's Stuart Robson's problem with wenger, I really rated him as a player for us but some of the things he said about wenger seemed more than a bit personal, in fact I think he might post on here under the username of thenry :D

Actually if your one of the big, challenging clubs I'd say nothing is probably better.
