Re: Snow !
We often miss out, it all drops on Derbyshire and North Nottinghamshire, missing us.

Re: Snow !
Woke up to a sprinkling of snow yesterday morning.
Still around, and will likely stay for a few days now, as its dry and freezing. |
Re: Snow !
Same here. I need to walk to Tesco in a bit, problem free I hope.

Re: Snow !
just started here in cleethorpes , I've just filled the coal scuttle and stoked up the stove

Re: Snow !
11.30am, it's just started snowing in Sth Manchester and with the ground frozen everything seems to have gone white in only minutes!
|
Re: Snow !
Hopefully my area will avoid the white stuff! I'm OK with it when I'm at home but if I have to go out in it and drive to work it's chaos especially at 5am.

Re: Snow !
It's snowed overnight here. There was nothing on the weather forecast to suggest it was going to do so :(
|
Re: Snow !
Looks like we had a light dusting overnight.
|
Re: Snow !
Snow near Cambridge overnight unfortunately, maybe only 1/2 an inch so it's not too much hassle for my commute later.

Re: Snow !
Snowed overnight in Bolton, much to my surprise. I opened the door - and thought, "When did that happen?"
You'll note no North-West postcodes are eligible for the winter fuel payment. Uh, hello? SNOW?! Business as usual, of course. Those gits in Parliament don't give a stuff about the North-West. Never have, never will. 'They don't vote!' <sarcasm> (calling for a sarcasm smilie again) Ooh, I wonder why. </sarcasm> And up yours as usual, Echelon! |
Re: Snow !
We had another light dusting last night, the previous snow is still around, hit -5șC here last night.
|
Re: Snow !
Still not had any here . .
It's as though since I retired, God has no reason to pee me of by covering the car and drive with 2ft of snow when leaving for work at 5 am :D |

Half an inch is enough to cause chaos for me, it took me a good 20mins at 11am this morning to clear it all off and then it was all frozen underneath. Leaving work tonight at 10pm the car was frosted over INSIDE on the windscreen, that never used to happen with my old car, it was only -5c as well. |
