Well done to the pool - not the best game - but Liverpool played Juve superbly - never really letting them in it.

Moneys on Chelsea for the semi though - but i would rather have Liverpool to win.

As Sky Sports rightly pointed out, hopefully Liverpool can complete the series of events. Last time Liverpool won the European Cup, Prince charles got married, Ken and Deidre got married and there was a new Doctor Who.

Sound familiar anyone ;)

Don't you mean the other way round... Last time Prince Charles got married (1981), Ken and Deirdre (1981) and new Dr Who... you won it?

And presuming we're still talking about 1981... remind me who won it the year before again, I've forgotten. Silly me :(
